Have you ever received the “perfect” gift?
A gift that just makes you so happy because you realize just how much that person loves you? (a gift you never asked for)
I did 3 years ago. For Christmas my bf bought me an I Love Lucy collector’s edition of Monopoly. It sounds silly but I’m a huge fan. It made me so happy that he spend a lot of money on something that I would never use, but would cherish forever. (except his son opened it a couple months ago and lost some of the pieces)
I recieved a hand made knife. It was made by my father-in-law who died 11 days ago from colon cancer. It was made out of an old lawnmower blade. he ground it down and shaped it by hand. Now I have something from him that will be treasured forever. Something that he made.
