oblivion dark elf assassin?

im wondering if a

I can’t remember what skills come with the Rogue class, but I play as a dark elf every time and they all make good assassins. But, truth be told, any character can be a good assassin if you make sure you work on the Sneak and Marksman skills.

If I remember the Shadow just means you can use the Moonshadow spell once a day to become invisible, so it doesn’t make a great deal of difference since you need to be sneaking in order for Invisibility to work at all.
